4 Months

And the results are in: 4 month stats
weight - 14 pounds 15 oz
length - 24 1/2 inches
head circumference - 41 cm

Elizabeth was given an A+ this morning at her 4 month well baby check up. She recieved another round of shots- one oral and two injections in her thighs. She did so well with them all - cried for a minute and was out the next! We were instructed to begin rice cereal by way of a spoon and once adapted to incoorporate stage 1 baby foods (: This should be interesting, but fun nonetheless (: Another sign my baby girl is growing all too fast...

Elizabeth LOVES
to eat
to be held
to be outside
to SMILE
her daddy ( and momma too)
her bumbo
her jump n' jive
mirrors
splashing her feet in water
her hands... and her feet
cooing and giggling (MELTS.MY.HEART)
to sit up

Elizabeth DISLIKES
tummy time
burping every 3 ounces
being hot (just like her momma)
all bottles besides NUK brand
rolling over

We cannot get over how much she has changed in the last 4 months!

6/12 - before church
6/13 - leaving her appointment today

Elizabeth still has her gorgeous blue eyes... while her hair varies from light to dark depending on the light! She continues to wear size 1-2 diapers. Most of her clothing is now size 3-6 months or 6 months. She is no longer recieving her breastmilk bottles at night, as our supply is long gone):  She is currently on Enfamil Gentlease and has adjusted well. On average, she consumes 3- 6oz bottles and 3- 4oz bottles daily, give or take. She continues to sleep through the night, and generally wakes around 6-7 am. Naps are becoming more predicatable and she is going to sleep easier and easier. At night, we could put her down wide awake and she would fall asleep. However, I prefer to sing and rock her for a brief period before putting her down for the night. I thoroughly enjoy this time, as I do her huge smile when I get her out of her crib in the mornings(:
Elizabeth loves to sit up and attempts to sit up further in her carseat when she is ready to get out. She is NOT interested in being on her stomach AT ALL! She has managed to roll over 3 times in the last month, but not consistently up to this point.I believe these rare occurences were due to her irritation and determination to get on her back.  Hopefully, she will get the hang of this in the next couple of weeks. She definitely has found her hands and feet... and loves them! She seemingly has great eyesight as she follows everyone and everything! She loves to put pressure on her feet as if she were standing with support! She is able to grasp certain objects and pass them between hands, but not able to pick them up unless her fingers are placed on the object just so. She loves to play with her paci in her mouth, but is becoming less and less interested as the days go by. She is very active and we can't wait to see what developmental milestones we reach in the coming weeks....

Off to Wal-Mart for our first can of rice cereal.... pics of our new adventure to be posted later (:
