MMP

We had a photo shoot with MMP this morning and Elizabeth did SO well! Never smiled, never cried... I'll take it. We took several pictures with flowers that looked like those above, only to find them on the front page of the paper and in our back yard when we returned home. Anyone know what they are? Red spider lillies. Elizabeth was FASCINATED!

Ten years already?
My class reunion was this weekend and we had so much fun getting to see everyone. Many traveled from several states away, while others weren't able to make it. All in all, we had a great turnout!!

7 MoNtHs! and on the move...

Why is it that when I was in my younger years time went by all too slow, and now in my older years (ha) time is moving way too quickly?!

Elizabeth is seven months old today!!! And oh what fun she is....She is crawling, climbing and always on the go!! Her first true crawl attempt was two weeks ago today- she would crawl, sit and lay herself out on the floor, repeat and repeat. Finally, it seems, she has the hang of it!

She is so much FUN and so BUSY! Everyday she is changing and I am amazed at what she has learned in just a few short months.

Elizabeth LOVES
bathtime
her outdoor swing
climbing
crawling
hungry hippo ball popper
her MSU cowbell (:
baby food
pulling up on the rails in her crib
blowing "rasberries"
her PACI
sucking her thumb
her daddy
the church nursery

Elizabeth DISLIKES
naptime
sippy cups
the Ole Miss Rebels
being sleepy
there really isn't much that she doesn't like (:

Elizabeth is currently wearing size 2 diapers and size 9, 12 and 18 month clothing depending on the brand. Her eyes are still beautiful and blue, while her hair is sandy blonde/light brown depending on the light. She is now eating stage 2 baby foods and loves them! She has fruit mixed with cereal or oatmeal in the morning, a vegetable/fruit for lunch and a vegetable for dinner. In addition to her food, she has 4-5 six ounce bottles throughout the day. She has decided she is not a big fan of naps; however, she does sleep well at night. In fact, last night she slept 12 HOURS!

Elizabeth CAN
sit without support
hold her bottle
Turn in the direction of a voice
Recognizes her name when called aloud (at times)
pull up to a standing position from sitting
crawl
